According to this study, less than 1% of the time, something that looks like a Seborrheic Keratosis is really a melanoma.  I usually don’t remove SKs .. and this study confirms that nearly all of the time, they are what they look like.  Nonetheless .. they’re not ALWAYS SKs .. so be carefule
